My fiberglass shower unit has a crack in the bottom. I would like to remove the existing unit and install a shower pan and tile the shower. It's about a 42"x42" area.

We are looking to remove some very old tile from the bathroom walls, put up a surround after removing tile and replacing the bathtub. In place of the tile would just like to drywall the rest of the bathroom and paint. Possible water damage once the tub and tile are removed. Shower over tub was recently replaced and would not need work. Very small bathroom (about 8x12). Possible replacement of sink with vanity/sink if feasible based on recommendation of company. Toilet was replaced about a year ago and does not need work.
